Final Public DESTRESS Conference
Join DESTRESS for its final conference on 24 and 25 November 2020!
The final conference of the DESTRESS project is public and designed for any representatives from science and industry, banks and insurance, any actors running, supporting or investing in geothermal projects. The aim is to discuss the results and findings resulted from an intense collaboration within the geothermal energy between science and industry and to embed them in other geothermal research and development projects from Finland, England, the United States and New Zealand. The final public DESTRESS conference addresses the following areas of interest:
- risk assessment and business case
- soft stimulation treatments (hydraulic, chemical and thermal)
- public acceptance of geothermal projects
- demonstrated workflows
We are delighted to invite you to join the international geothermal community and to support a better understanding of potentials given by the geothermal energy. The conference will be held online and allow talks from invited speakers only. However, the conference will offer an opportunity to engage with the event by contributing to the poster sessions and joining lively discussions about lessons learnt resulted from the main topic of the conference.
